USAF Digital Technical Orders

(Based on AFSAC Wright Patterson AFB OH//IP// Msg 280956Z Dec 99)

The USAF has a Public Access Web Page which provides Technical Orders in digital format; in other words, Foreign Military Sales customers can now download USAF Technical Orders free of charge.

The site can be reached at http://www-ext.tinker.af.mil/tild/.

An extensive group of Technical Orders can be accessed by simply going to this Public Domain home page and then clicking on Technical Orders.

Adobe Reader software is required to view the “pdf” documents; that software can be obtained at no cost by visiting the Adobe Internet site: http://www.adobe.com.

A special note to the FMS Aviation community:

If a Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) is being submitted that is believed to be a potential safety-of-flight issue, FMS customers are now allowed to directly contact the appropriate USAF Agency in conjunction with SDR submission.

Technical Order 00-35D-54 implements this policy change.
